For sale is my 2002 E46 BMW 330 ci coupe. 98k miles MOT until Feb 2013 4 months tax Spec list: BC Racing 8/8Kg/mm Camber and Castor Topmount adjustable coilovers Meyle Front Wishbones BBS RK wheels - ET15 17x8.5J all round Welded diff (oil recently changed) Custom rear chassis/subframe bracing (big problem on E46s is the rear subframe can tear at the diff mounts, so I had this reinforced - this car is SOLID!) Powerflex polybushes everywhere Clutch Delay Valve removed Hydraulic handbrake - custom fabricated fixing kit and mounted vertically next to steering wheel New clutch 10k miles ago New uprated front discs Full geo all round - standard BMW set up at the moment but with 2 degrees camber up front Rear stripped - the rest is leather interior with woodtrim and even electric rear blind I currently have the standard seats in but will include a Cobra Monaco bucket seat + BMW seat rail if the car sells at the right price. The car will also come with the original 17" BMW sport wheels and 10 spare tyres. I took the car to one DWYB and it performed really well. I've had the car about 6 months now and it's been good as gold. The car never overheats and hasn't used a drop of oil or water. I serviced the car when I got it and have only done around 2-3k miles on it so its really good to go With the spec and condition the car is good to go to the right home. I really like the car and did a lot of research to build it up to a decent drift spec and made a very capable car. Reason for sale is a potential new project has caught my attention and I could do with freeing up the funds. I've had a 330 a few years ago too and the engine on this is a peach - pulls really strongly through the gears. The gearbox is solid and the new clutch can take a kick at revs without slipping etc. With the new wishbones and polybushes the car feels really tight and is a lot of fun to drive Negatives: A couple of small rust bubbles starting to appear on arches - surface flakes though, nothing serious. A small crack in windscreen on passenger side - again nothing serious but worth mentioning. Airbag warning light on as I disabled them to stop them deploying at skid days. Easy to re-activate by reconnecting a wire. Hydro: Rear subframe reinforcement bar: Engine bay: £3500 PX offers welcome with non-drift cars.
can i just ask whats the clutch delay valve mod?? just ive got a e46 328 ci and have someone mention this before.
Theres a wee restrictor in the pipework of the clutch slave cylinder which limits the speed the clutch is released. Replace the whole pipe with a straight through, bish bosh, behold a real clutch pedal
As I had a few PMs about it, added pics of the hydro install and rear subframe floor + engine bay shot. Also reduced price to £3500, if I get no solid interest I think I'll just daily the thing and enjoy it
