    Jaguar XJR (X308) 4.0 Supercharged (£3,200)

Metallic Black Jaguar XJR 4.0 V8 Supercharged with Light Grey Leather Interior

The car is in really nice condition inside and out, with a full service history, including the well known timing chains re-work carried out at 71,550 miles and recently checked by myself

The service history is included below:

    23/06/98 - 22 miles - Jaguar, Stratstone London
    19/11/98 - 9,616 miles - Jaguar, Mead of Burnham
    06/05/99 - 21,367 miles - Jaguar, Mead of Burnham
    16/09/99 - 30,171 miles - Jaguar, Mead of Burnham
    27/03/00 - 40,124 miles - Jaguar, Mead of Burnham
    10/08/00 - 49,775 miles - Jaguar, Merritts Amersham
    10/05/01 - 59,496 miles - Jaguar Specialist, Sunningdale Hampshire
    09/05/02 - 64,243 miles - Jaguar Specialist, Sunningdale Hampshire
    23/06/03 - 71,499 miles - Jaguar Specialist, Sunningdale Hampshire
    24/07/03 - 71,550 miles - Jaguar Specialist, Sunningdale Hampshire
14/06/05 - 80,685 miles - Les Pauls Jaguar Specialist, Woodford Green
14/06/06 - 85,873 miles - Les Pauls Jaguar Specialist, Woodford Green
08/08/08 - 92,334 miles - Les Pauls Jaguar Specialist, Woodford Green
15/06/10 - 96,367 miles - Les Pauls Jaguar Specialist, Woodford Green
    04/08/12 - 102,500 miles - Myself

Within the last couple of months I have fitted new front brake discs and pads, new auxiliary belt and tensioner, Oil and Filter Change with fully synthetic, Coolant flush and fill, a new NS lower ball joint rubber, re-greased the rear driveshaft nipples and gave the car a thorough inspection prior to taking it across the channel on holiday, where it performed perfectly.

The car has been fully under-sealed in recent years and has had a part stainless steel exhaust system fitted, which is unobtrusive when cruising, but does give it a little more V8 grumble on throttle. All the electrics and aircon work just as they should. I'm an engineer at Jaguar Land Rover and have taken a great deal of pride in the car while I have owned it, certainly one of the best examples I've seen.

The car has the correct spec Pirelli tyres fitted all round, albeit the rears are low, plenty still left on the fronts and the wheels all round are in very good condition. The rear bumper has a slight mark on the right hand side from a previous owner, with a couple of hard to spot dings to the doors, apart from that the bodywork is very good considering the age with no rust showing whatsoever.

Taxed until 28/02/13 and MOT'd until 31/05/13, all ready to be driven away and enjoyed.

The car can be viewed in Leamington Spa.

    £3200

    Thanks!
It's such a beast and has effortless pace. It was bought for something monster to travel to the N24 earlier this year and has served me very well since but now I want a Macbook Pro and this is my second car.

I love the way it can glide through town quietly but then have a reassuring burble with a tad more pressure on the throttle pedal and then turn into a tarmac folding beast when the road opens up!

It is kept in the garage and can still comfortably reach the 155mph limiter! (confirmed on the JLR test track no less, at a recent employee event)

Returned an average of 27 mpg on a 1300mile trip to the continent
