He's been banned mate, his IP address was Nigerian, he also had two usernames on here they are both banned. If anyone suspects anything dodgy just report it to a mod.
every day i think why dont we have some kind of ebay structure to our buying and selling on the parts thread? This would stop alot of shit hitting the fan. Couldnt think of anything worse than loosing money on here.
It's not just the buying and selling, it's wanted ads they tend to try their luck with. Just be careful buying stuff of strangers
Driftworks won't get involved with buying and selling as it shouldn't be their responsibility for our stupidity. Best thing they can do to stop this would be to remove the for sale section and ban any selling. But that would just be shit. So just use some common sense.
Straight up ban all ip addresses from Nigeria, would help stop all but the determined scammers from there. Plenty of scammers from the UK tho.
HAHAAAA YEAH RIGHT...... he mailed me saying he had a set of ohlins coilovers for my rx7 and he would want payment through western union also..
This, I banned this guy a couple of days ago. Please report any dodgy stuff. Our sticky talking about buying and selling on the forum has a specific reference to people asking for western union. To be fair, common sense should tell you this kind of stuff isn't legit.
