2014 MX5 !!! sounds interesting

    Just read an article about the 2014 MX5, sounds like it could make a cool car, Mazda are aiming to reduce the weight to 900kg and it will be powered with a 1.3 turbo engine or a 1.5 NA

    although power figures haven't been mentioned I recon the turbo one should make for a cracking car and hopefully 180-200bhp should be easy to get being FI and all that :nod:

    Probably will be FWD lol.

    1.3 turbo and 900kg sounds a winner. Will be easy to get a 1.3 turbo to 200bhp+

    I did wonder about that, seeing the mention of the SKYACTIV stuff, but I don't think they'd be stupid enough to make it FWD.

    Sounds like it could be a cracking little car. Though hopefully it'll look a little better than that nasty photoshop.

    fwd would expain how they make it much lighter but is a terrible idea.

    I read the article in auto express magazine before looking on the net and it said there was talk about it being FWD but that mazda have now decided to definitely stick with RWD :)

    It looks like a weird mix between a volvo, a BMW Z4 and the newshape BMW 1 series....

    Its going to be an Alfa Romeo too which is likely to use the 1750 Turbo engine with about 260bhp but the same engine in the 4c is going to make 300bhp in GTA spec.
