Recommended route to run Electric Power Steering, and Stock Factory Instruments is to contact Pip Gardner at WGT Auto Developments in Middlewich, Cheshire, who has got CANBUS Adaptors to run Aftermarket ECU's in RX8's.

Some more info: Mazda CANbus Products - Items - AutoElectronics Online SHop

Wiring to run the LS1 Motor is straight forward and as with an LSX Engine Conversion, with a plethora of information from the RX7, 200SX and MX5 Community.

Bespoke work to exhaust system (we were going to try and make the stock headers work until bespoke headers could be made).

Stock Radiator could be modified to run with LS1 Water Pump.

Be the first person in the United Kingdom to run this setup (1 other car in Iceland known to exist with LSX Swap), and only a handful

    of cars running in USA.

Money invested so far is around £7900.00

    Will Accept £4000.00 no offers.

Hoping someone on here has the balls to go for this, if you have any questions, please ask, I won't have all the answers, but I'll try my best!!

    Thank you for reading.

Hi Kieran, yes correct it is an F-Body LS1, so anywhere 305-325hp from GM factory with cat's etc.

Expectation would be in 370-380hp region with good tune for 98RON, shorty headers, de-cats, and intake before doing anything internal.

They were continually revised over the years up to the last HSV engines with 383 BHP. All you need is a later tune from a Camaro/GTO, LS6 inlet manifold (it may already have one) and a good set of headers to get at least 350/350. Add the Z06 MAF + throttle body and you're very close to 400s.

Bad timing for me as I'm still playing with my RX7 conversion.
