Hi Kieran, yes correct it is an F-Body LS1, so anywhere 305-325hp from GM factory with cat's etc. Expectation would be in 370-380hp region with good tune for 98RON, shorty headers, de-cats, and intake before doing anything internal.
They were continually revised over the years up to the last HSV engines with 383 BHP. All you need is a later tune from a Camaro/GTO, LS6 inlet manifold (it may already have one) and a good set of headers to get at least 350/350. Add the Z06 MAF + throttle body and you're very close to 400s. Bad timing for me as I'm still playing with my RX7 conversion.
