Firstly I must point out this car is Manx registered.

Originally started out as 1989 Nissan 200sx

    SR20DET (blacktop non-vvt) Engine conversion
    Exedy Organic Clutch
    S14a Gearbox
    Huge FMIC
    HSD HR Coilovers
Tein Track rod arms and ends
    Rota RBX Alloys
    PS13 Front end conversion
Origin Rear bumper, sideskirts and 30mm wider front wings.
    Uras Front bumper
    Unknown FRP Bonnet
    GTR Grille
Adjustable rear toe and camber arms (Japspeed I think)
    Mongoose Exhaust
    Front and rear strut brace
    Welded Diff
    Subframe Locking collars
    Crystal rear lights
Full respray in VW Pearl Mica Red

I have probably forgotten a few things so will update as and when I remember.

    Bad points:
    Needs full alignment
    No interior
Crack in paint on boot lid
    Clocks don't always work
Still trying to track down a sub-harness for the coolant temp sensor.

Its a Drift car and has been used for drifting so don't please expect a fully concours car. There are some cracks in the paint and a few chips and dints.

    *EDIT:
    £3500 no offers

If it doesn't sell I will probably break it. Anyone interested in parts?

I will possibly be keeping the SR conversion. Could end up doing something completely mad with it...

I would imagine its similar to registering any imported car. I couldn't tell you the exact process for the UK but it would probably require filling out some sort of import form and booking in for a VOSA inspection.

A quick phone call to the DVLA tomorrow and I'm sure they will tell you exactly what is involved.

In the mean time before it gets tested you can legally drive it for up to 6 months on Manx plates.

I will get more pics up as soon as I can

Yep i've been legally driving my manx registered car for 6 months (for two years)

    :D

This car has come such a long way since the day you got it! I can vouch for it, me and Unders used to drive around in our dirty datsuns all the time in the isle of man, even done a little 'lane run' in it.. in its standard form :D good times.

    Free bump!!

just looks like £55 for the first registration, tax and an mot. shouldnt be too bad. To be fair its a bargain at that price so dont think the extra price of registering matters too much lol. Doubt ill be able to get cash before some of these guys, dohhh

Would you have to pay import tax? If so could you save by having a reciept that shows the book value of an 89 200sx?

There shouldn't be any import tax. Well not that I know of if buying a car from the Isle of Man.
