Hi everyone. After 4 years of happy ownership I have decided to sell my daily driven BMW 318i saloon. its done 155,000 miles, had loads of new parts recently and within the last year. new:- Ht leads ( fitted last week) Spark pugs ( also fitted last week ) Fuel filter ( done last week ) New Battery (fitted just before christmas) Fuel pump (fitted october 2011) Air flow meter (fitted december 2011) anti rollbar drop links (fitted september 2011 for mot) Rear shocks and Springs (fitted in february 2011) 4 new tyres (fitted february 2011) also changed the drivers door cos the window wouldnt close properly. ( changed window regulator, motor and still wouldnt close so when a complete door came up in the same colour and swapped it and now window works perfectly but havent changed the locks over yet. ) The body work is in good condition for its age. Had the rust on the rear arches sorted not long after I bought the car 4 years but the rear right arch has started to bubble but hasnt broken the paint yet. Theres a few light scratches and carpark dents and the kidney grill is bent where my girlfriends bosses car role down a hill into it (muppet). Its got standard Bmw 15inch alloys with good tyres (new tyres fitted early last year). Stardard grey cloth interior tiny rip on back seat and the drivers seat right bolster is ripped. If I get the full asking price I ll leave in the Blaupunkt CD Head unit and Alpine ex10 ipod control system and hands free bluetooth. Also the stereo has 2 Alpine T180 amps in the boot running a pair of 6x9 speakers under the back shelf and a pair of 130mm front speakers in the foot well all directed audio. Now the Bad bit. After the fuel pump packed up before christmas and was replaced with a new one, the car hasnt ran right and doesnt start first time. Its been back to the garage that fitted it and they serviced and the throttle and replace some of the vacum hoses and still doesnt run right So thats when I started to replace bits, Spark plugs, Ht leads, Fuel filter and petrol gauge reader ( the one in th tank ).I m gonna pop the injectors out this week and change the air filter to see if that sorts it. It stills runs and I m still driving it on a daily basis. i ve Had the car 4 years and it was my first ever BMW and its been so good that I bought me 328 drift car and Have now bought a touring to replace so this needs to go. Up to now this car has been brilliant. For the Last two years its Been My daily for work and I m a carpenter so does manages weight well and has been driven to the french alps 4 times and le mans. Its got loads of life left in it but it would be cool if one wanted to stick a 2.8 engine and drift it with the welded 1.8 diff. 10 months Tax and MOT I would like £400 only really to cover me cost on tax and the stereo.
