I like teh car but dont you think that the one screw under the license platte is to weak to hold the whole diffuser? I have almost the same diffuser on my S13. i bolted it to the rear metalbumper so now it sits about 2 inch higher than your installation and is secured wit 4 Bolts behind the license plate. The rest of your weapon is stunning!
The diffuser was only trial fitted to see what it looked like on the car. It needs some cutting to make fit with my exhaust, ideally I'd like it too fit a little higher.
Well there is like a meter of snow outside, and I can't be bothered to take the car out so I'm doing little things. I fitted the seats: I also removed the bgw to see what it looks like wingless: But then I put it right back on: I think the wing kinda suits this car. I also stared going through all the parts I've got left over from previous builds, and I found some bits which will be usefull for the 32. a Bosch 044 external fuel pump: a Setrab oil cooler: I also found new rear brake discs and pads from a 300ZX, I hope they will fit.
Time for an update on this I got some parts from yo-yo on here. Namely an SR block fitted with HKS liners: And a new inlet manifold: These will come in handy when I start building my engine I also go the car done chassis wise. Brakes fitted: Rear suspension: Front: Now I need to get the geometry done and it's ready to go.
Well the sun finally came out, so being a picture whore, I took some pics in the sun I also wanted to get it dynoed... ...but the afr was way off, so I need to get the fuel system done, and fit and map my new ecu.
Well, update time. I got some plates on the car, and I got it insured. So I got to drive it on the road for the first time since I bought it. Here it is sitting proudly outside my house: I also got some new brake lines, and DW camber arms to finish of the chassis work: An a cool mount for my 044: Then some parts for my SR arrived from the US: Right now the car is basically done chassis wise, interior wise, and brake wise. All a need to do is put my new fuel system together, fit cams+sprockets, fit turbo+manifold, fit inlet manifold, wire in new ecu, map... and its gonna be finished.
looks like you have done alot since i last looked mati, i like it alot. how easy was it to get all the suspension stuff fitted and sorted for geometry? thinking of getting the same parts for my r32 now its fixed after a lil barrier action!
Thanks fitting the suspension stuff was really easy acctually. Ale the old bushes and bolts and arms came of without any trouble, given that they were almost twenty years old My geometry guy loves all the adjustable arms, 'cause it makes his work a lot easier. Thanks. It came as a surprise, but really made my day I have no idea, the spec sheet said Sard. But there are no markings on it. I really want to change it for a low mount drag wing, but I have other shit to sort out first. They're SSR Profs. I've got them stashed in my garage, and I'm waiting for two more that I have ordered from Japan. They are some of the best wheels ever, and the suit the car sooooo well Thanks
