    Hi guys,

For sale is my 2001 golf GTI 1.8 20v turbo.

It's covered 100,190 miles which isn't too bad for it's age.
Receipts for parts as well as some old mot's and the original book. 1 Flip key fully working.

MOT: expires on the 20th of december 2014
TAX: expires on the 1st of July

For sale as I'm too old for lows and woosh-tish in my daily driver.

No structural rust with just 2 very small cosmetic bubbles on each side of the lower 3/4.
It has a crumpled passenger side wing that came from someones foot. (not mine i hasten to add)
Paint's cracked/crazed on the rear bumper from what looks like a car park nudge.

Goes well, it's low so there are the usual bumpy lumpy clunks you get from driving low profile tyres on our fine english roads.

Windows down and you hair getting messed up???? Not in this car!!! Wind deflectors man! Wind deflectors!!!

Has bbs rx2 2 piece splits all with good tread on tyres.

Engine has had some bolt on bits and bobs:
    KO3s Turbo - Boosts well!
Down pipe - de-cat and stainless system
    K&N induction
    Front mount
    Air con removed
    Forge dump valve
    Oversized TIP
    N249 Delete
    Vac lines simplified.

This car is crying out for a remap - It has all the supporting mods to make a very reliable 200+hp

Gear box and clutch are good. Selection is good as is the action on the clutch pedal.

Interior is standard and in pretty good shape. Drivers bolster is worn but apart from that the Recaro seats are solid and supportive.
No wood trim which is nice
All electrics work... all of them. Has the dash computer for MPG ect that works fine. Mirrors and windows work well.

The battery is mounted in the boot as well as a sub and amp in a false floor type affair.

Overall it's a decent little motor. The Oettinger grill will be getting a nice fresh lick of paint to smarten the front end up prior to sale as will the rear roof spoiler.

Comfy, solid and goes well. I've done over a hundred miles in it today and it's averaged 42.1mpg. Can't be bad!

All this fun for just £1400.

Any questions just let me know.

    Thanks.

    Sam -

Thanks and right back at you.

Worth noting, swaps/part ex is a definite possibility however nothing french, nothing ford and nothing vauxhall.

    Thanks.
