Corolla levin ae86 shell , on a budget most of the stickers left over from the santa pod trip a few months back , i used Gloss paint instead of a spray can like plasti cote , no one would tell the difference, and i installed an LED kit Made from LEDS of computer fans i had laying around and a battery cell rigged up with a charger all from an old phone.

Dont run the filter paper since it will dim them and then just look a little too basic. I would look at using some Wrap Up Next tinting film. I used them on my Mark X. You can either run it on the inside of the body or wrap it around the light bucket.

Here is what I did. I first stuck it to the inside of the shell.

    After

A little while later I wrapped the bucket instead so it gives a cleaner look depending on the shape of the buckets/body.

Its not that expensive but I suppose if you have some friends who can get their hands on some lamin-x or any sort of tint film you could get the same results. You honestly dont need much and looks much more realistic.
