I went drifting, spun out, ended up hitting a wooden something. The damage is luckily not much, but that had some black tar -ish thing on it, which is now stick to my bumper. I tried to scratch it down with my nails ( dont want to damage paint ,since it looks undamaged under the black stuff), some came some didnt... Yeah I know its not a serious technical question, so dont hate , just tell me if you got any ideas
Is Brake cleaner OK on paint?! Try Autoglym Intensive Tar Remover - does EXACTLY what it says on the tin Then follow up with Autoglym Super Resin Polish, does a good job of removing any residue and giving it a little protection
Bug remover somehow doesnt even remove 100% of the bugs. Cleaning with a bit of petrol worked. Thanks everybody
Are you guys mistaking brake cleaner with brake fluid? Cleaner is only solvent, should be ok on paint.
As said before auto glum intensive tar remover, that's what I use to get rid of glue from stickers and tar when I do detailing, brake cleaner is good but personally I've found it's not as effective as autoglym, just my opinion, but try to get as much off as you can before using it, it makes it a lot easier in the long run, you might need to polish it up after woods too.
Brake cleaner is fine ffs, whats not Ok is people on driftworks not ripping the op for caring about a little black spot on his car, awww poor drift car got dirty waaa waaa.
Dafuq?? Is ripping people cool now then?? The op asked a pretty sensible question. Why does he deserve to be ripped in to?? That was a pretty fucktarded reply tbh!
lol so people ripping on the guy for saying use brake cleaner and calling him a troll is all good? Used to be standard practice to have a giggle at people cleaning there drift cars on here but maybe it become over run with lifestylers??
