Getting sick of having messages from 17-odd year old dreamers on eBay so thought I'd give a shot at putting the car up on here.

2004 E46 M3 SMG - Just hit 58,000 miles - Silver grey with black nappa leather interior

It's with deep regret that due to moving house I am having to buy a smaller car.

The car has been garaged by both myself and the previous owner, it was taken off the road over winter to avoid contact with the salt roads as it's only used as a weekend car for nice weather (when we get it!)

I NEVER drive the car in the wet unless I get caught whilst I'm out. I have always given the car Shell V-Power and BP Ultimate.

    About the car:
A stunning genuine low mileage example, I have full service history to back this up, including previous MOT's and a whole booklet full of previous receipts.

    Factory extras:
SMG Drivelogic (enables you to change gear via the gearstick or via paddles on the steering wheel.)
Genuine OEM BMW satellite navigation (With onboard computer)
    Harmon Kardon speakers
    Bluetooth phone system
    Dynamic Stability Control (DSC)
    Electric memory heated seats
    Cruise control
    Steering wheel stereo control
    Rear parking sensors
    High-gloss shadowline trim
    3-point rear seat belt
    6-CD changer
    Electric folding exterior mirrors
    Electric glass sunroof

There are too many goodies with this car to list, it has all the optional extras which were available from BMW.

I wanted to create the perfect M3, so I took the car to my local specialist, got them to give the car a thorough checkover and list anything that wasn't perfect on the car and could do with replacing anytime soon.

This was a very comprehensive search as I only wanted the best, they came back with a large list, and every single item on the list has been replaced, such as:

4x Vredstein Ultrac Sessanta tyres (recommended by various owners clubs) laser alignment carried out after fitting.

Front pads were nearing wear marker - I subsequently purchased brand new OEM BMW discs, Perfomance Friction (uprated) pads, Goodridge stainless still braided brake lines, performance brake fluid (drained and replaced.)

Air con belt was showing signs of wear, this was replaced.

There had been a more recent SMG/DME software update released, this was then updated.

Rear trailing arm bushes were showing signs of wear, these were replaced with Powerflex RTAB's (as recommended by owners clubs)

I got the car back and it felt fantastic, but I felt that the SMG wasn't shifting as fast as it was capable of so I decided to replace further parts to get it working as good as new again.

This meant the clutch was replaced, SMG compression springs were replaced and the gear position sensor was replaced.

I got the car back again and it is absolutely amazing, the gear changes are lightning quick just like they should be, it handles perfectly and is the ultimate drivers car.

I genuinely don't believe you will find an example where someone has gone out of their way to try and make every aspect of the car drive absolutely perfectly.

    Bad points:
The car does have stonechips on the front bumper, as to be expected of a car of this age. There is also a mark where a stone has caught the bonnet which has been touched up and polished back down which is hardly noticeable now.

There is slight corrosion to the drivers side wing mirror, this is extremely common but has never bothered me enough to replace it, you can only see it when sat in the driver seat.

One of the wheels has been curbed, VERY slight marks to a couple of others (these were freshly refurbed prior to my ownership, receipt provided)

I genuinely can't think of any other bad points, any other niggles on the car have been dealt with and replaced as I can't handle having a car with problems!

Feel free to drop me a PM with any questions I can answer, if you need further pictures or anything just give me a shout.

Price is £12,500 ono. Car is located in Benfleet (SS7).

I had already changed it, but I guess some of you are using a different skin.

Just spent about the last 15 minutes editing it, hopefully should be alright now!
