Yeah great if you like a really solid feel but dont mind turning your car into a dildo on idle. New stock mount or up-rated rubber ones are best on a daily.

The reason im thinking hocky pucks is because theyre dirt cheap and new standard mounts would be a bit steep for and old diesel yoke

The mounts should be 66mm in total? Or how many pucks you use.

What would the e36 members advise for a 318ti? How many pucks?

don't waste your money on hocky pucks if your going to do this most retarded idea ever, then you may as well just stack a load of penny washers up or drill a hole through a block of wood, be just as good lol

People have an extremely lack of understand if they thing hocky pucks are better then solid mounting haha

A great cheap replacement/upgrade compared to standard engine mounts.
Not sure about daily driving with them though.
Had mine in about a year now and not a single problem.

Not really going to have a problem with them but they are pointless you may as well just solid mount the engine for free instead of wasting it on hockey pucks lol

I was going to solid mount my engine but it took £5 and 30 mins to sort it out with hockey pucks, I prefer doing this than shoving 50mm of metal spacers between the engine and subframe. This is the second car I've had with them and to be honest I've not noticed they've been fitted, although they are BMW 6 cylinders.

B&Q do some nice long M10 bolts for £1 each, saves messing with double nutting both ends of threaded bar.

Ermm, take out engine mounts that are rubber, replace with something solid ie 'metal washers block of wood (lol!) etc.'
