E30 v8 gearbox

    I'm contemplating the idea of replacing my 325 lump for the v8, could I use my current box or will it shit its pants ? 89 e30 325, pulls really well, no slack in box at all, just trying to save myself a gearbox job

    They don't fit onto the v8 box, wrong pattern, need a v8 one or m3 box I believe, think there may be adapter plates for your box somewhere but not sure.

    Do you have a v8 engine ?

    Any box to any v8 phill or are they all different ?

    just v8 boxes bolt up to v8 no others 2.5 m3 etc dont
    so get your wallet out they arent cheap anymore
