Hey folks, This car has been around a few people I believe including Jordan Butters from drifted http://www.drifted.com/snapshot-fc3s-a-love-affair/ it even spent time up north of Scotland drifting about at crail, went to Ayrshire for a while and now in southern Scotland J I used it as my daily for a few months and unfortunately the tips gave up, instead of buying a second hand NA engine I took the turbo engine out of my other car and fitted it, as the engine was an S5 engine into an S4 car I have changed every bit of wiring in the car to match, engine loom, front and rear body looms the lot. All the drivetrain has been changed to turbo 2 components and the diff is welded. When the engine came from my other car it was running perfectly and would start everytime, it was running a bigger turbo with no emission rubbish, no rats nest and no solenoids but since refitting the engine to this car and putting it back to standard it has an idle problem and the plugs get fuelled up, could be a solenoid, vacuum problem or something daft but I just don’t have the time to look at it as I have 2 other rx7s I need to complete so would just like it gone, but would need trailered · 1987 RX7 FC EGI converted to Turbo 2, still EGI on logbook up to buyer to change · No MOT · No tax · Currently SORNd · Roughly 87,000 on the shell, roughly 93,000 on the engine, was rebuilt at 89,000 (with receipt) · Completely rot free, best rx7 fc I have ever seen underneath, looks as good as new Exterior · White · Alloy bonnet (rather than the crazy heavy steel ones) · S13 front splitter · Turbo 2 skirts · Import rear lights Interior · Turbo interior apart from black dash (has dark grey dash) · Steering wheel boss · Aftermarket steering wheel · Cd player Wheels, suspension and drivetrain · Buddy club p1 wheels in white · Good tread on all · Nearly new k sport coilovers · Turbo gearbox · Turbo prop · Turbo diff (welded) · Turbo shafts · Turbo hubs Engine · Stock port 13b -t · K&N air filter · Aftermarket exhaust (single exit with 3 inch piping, not twin in photo, twin exit could maybe be included) · Decat downpipe · New oil · New coolant · Newish plugs · Magnecor plug leads Extras · Electric fan with thermostatic switch Bad points · As stated at the beginning the car has an idle problem, will start and run but won’t idle well · Rear arches have been rolled, could be a plus in some peoples case? I know it used to run 18 x 10 on the rear · One pop up light stays up · No fan (new electric fan and thermostatic switch come with the car) · Door wiring looms need fitted · NA fuel pump still fitted Price: 3000
I also owned this car and can confirm it has one of the best shells I have ever seen on an FC. Was an awesome car as EGI but was missing the power but now to have a T2 engine it would be amazing!! Wish I had money and space to buy it back!! Someone is going to get an brilliant little package. GLWTS
