As title really, bought it a while back but trying to do without turbos for a bit so it's time to sell this. It's prob worth more, but I'll take what I paid for it.

It's basically a HX40 7 blade compressor wheel, so 700bhp capable at BIG boost, and a HX35 turbine wheel and 12cm twin scroll housing with the wastegate flap etc welded up for external wastegate use.

These hybrids (with a 12cm turbine fitted) tend to spool as fast as a 35 but with much more power if needed, so are perfect for RB25s, 1JZs, and so on, as well as smaller big power engines, and tbh anything up to about 5ltr.

It looks unused, they told me that when I bought it, and the turbine housing and wheels aren't covered in soot and crap like when a turbos been ran, though I'd probably say it's a rebuilt turbo rather than brand new as its not perfect looking, though I don't know for sure, as was sitting on the shelf at a tuners for ages before I bought it, so has a few crusty surface rust bits etc, but it was always stored somewhere warm/dry so looks pretty good for bare metal.

There's cock all play in-out play, which is nice, yet another thing to say they weren't lying to me when they sold it me as unused, and it looks clean inside the core when you look through the oil return flange.

£400, and delivery to UK mainland would be £20, but can deliver anywhere really at cost.

Fuck it, as its clear out time, I may as well sell the other one of these I have. Identical tbh, maybe even better condition, looks a bit shinier to me lol. I'll get pics tomorrow if needed.

Someone can have both if they're building some kind of twin turbo v8 lol

    3 things here, lol.

    1- it was.
2- no, as he's too late and they've both sold. May be able to get others though, I'll see.
3- not that easy- either machine the hx35 backplate to accept the hx40 compressor or use a hx40 core.

Seen a lot bigger on a 2ltr, but will want to be a 450bhp+ setup for it to be worth it

Stav do you remember the turbo you put the link up for and recommended as a good buy? It was a KKK with a billet wheel, twin scroll t4. I still have it and have changed my plans so if anyone wants it they can have it for cost price. £450 plus postage to the uk

2 more for sale. Most likely the last ones too as the other 3 they had weren't complete so didn't take them.

Seem the same condition as previous ones, zero in-out play, usual small side play like you'd expect. Spins freely. They reckon unused since built up, seems about right- You can smell/see the machine oil lol.

    £400 a pop as before.

One sold and paid for, once left to be bought. Money talks.
