Ok technically it is a infinity G35 since i live in the lame states of america and they have to name there cars different. Really, I love my country hate there laws and beliefs. I picked the car up a week ago. Have not had a lot of time to work on it since I work 6 days a week 10 hours a day but I am hoping to run loan star drift series in Texas this year. So here is the start. Round 1 is march 22-23 so I am hoping to have it up and going by then. plans: Cage gutted, chopped rear, gutted some more, vq35 super charged, stage 3 clutch G37 brakes, BC coil overs, Lot and lots of tires, PBM angle kit, SPC arms, more tires. Motor when I got it. After I cleaned everything up, baking soda blasted the engine and painted it. Here is a mock up of how the G37 brakes will fit after I fab a flange to mount them. As you can see they are bigger then the brembo's. Working on getting some of the car together. Going black and green on the whole car. I do powder coating, so intake plenum is going a candy green so are some of the pulleys. The calipers I just painted because I do not want to have to rebuild them yet. And I have not had much of a chance to get to the inside. I am ordering dom steel next week to build the cage.
In some cool news, I am picking up a NOS kit this friday from a friend. Going to be running a 50 shot till i get tuning stuff and then will up it to 100 shot.
Great news, i just got accepted by Non Stop Tuning for there loan star drift program, so they are making me some Sick ass new gold pulleys for the car! Also have a sponsorship coming up! details being worked out, so will be posted soon! Here is some stuff just ordered! Power steering cooler, some redline fluids and these. After round 1 will be getting a cam lock harness and this will be going to passenger side.
Today i was hit up by a paint shop for a sponsorship. Also a rim company here in town is calling me today to set up a sponsorship with them as well! Man shit is going too good for me right now and the car!
After days and days of consideration and debate, I am going to be going with fortune auto 510 coilovers. in a few months I will upgrade them to the 2 way adjustable.
Just secured another sponsor that will be building the cage, bash bar, bracket to run the G37 brakes and lexan windows!
Today the Nonestop tuning pulleys came in. Getting a short shifter next week from them as well. Also powder coated my knuckles.
All on the way! Also working on getting fortune auto coil overs before march 22. I have other parts on order too from Non Stop tuning, just waiting for my discount code. Want to order the drift works CF wing as well.
Well since it is going to take 3 weeks for them to build the Fortune Auto 510's I went ahead and picked these up since a good price!
