    Hi all

Got some gearbox oil coming out of my gearstick surround.

Any ideas/helo would be appreciated. Cars got sr20 in.

    Cheers

Sounds like the rubber seal has split underneath the gaitor sleeve. My old one years back was goosed.

Ive not had an s13 for about 5 years now mate so cant really remember i fully stripped mine down to a shell so from memory i dnt really recall how the interior looked but whatever it takes to lift the gaitor sleeve so im gunna say yes take them bolts out and have a look below...there is a chubby looking rubber seal right at the base of the gear stick...mine had split right round. Im not even sure you can get replacements altho i could be wrong...might have to attempt a self fix like gluing or tie wrap etc if you can. Good luck sorting it :)

Its probably this bit thats either split or come off the top of the box. As you say, remove the 4 bolts, lift the rubber cover and you'll be able to get to it.

If you cant find a proper replacement try finding a CV gaiter that will fit.
