Anyone out there found a technique to bleed the clutch on these? Been trying with mine off and on for a few days. Pedal feels mint but wont let me select 1st and reverse gear unless I turn off engine and engage then restart. However when that does happen the car doesn't roll forward and you still have to lift clutch albeit not much.

Have you tried a pressure bleeder? They are only about £20 or so.

I got one of those hand held oil cans with the pump on for a couple of quid from halfords and filled that up with fluid, opened up the reservoir put the tube of the oil can on the nipple and pumped away making sure to keep the can topped up with fluid to not add air into the system. I did this on a non m3 e36 so I'm not to sure how different the setups are but it may help
