So after leaving mx5 ownership due needing a diesel for work, I've now moved closer to work so decided to buy another. So back in around December 2013 i visited a Mx5 specialist local to me and bought a 2002 1.8 with heated leather seats, 6 speed with around 60k miles. Here is a picture of when i first got it.

After a short while i knew i wanted it lower so bought a set of cheap ebay coilovers (i do now regret this), a set of friends hid's and import plates. I also swapped over a set of Tracklite wheels i had on my Clio daily i had at the time.

Shortly after this i found the car to sit far too low with the 15's, felt like everywhere i drove i was catching the underside on things. I also wanted bigger wheels to fill the arches more, so although i at this point already bought a set of Rota Grid Spec v's in 15's i put them strait back up for sale in the search for bigger wheels. I knew i wanted Rota Grid's in 17x9 and by chance my friend found a set in Edinburgh for sale so went for them! Fitted them on with no issues.

Also fitted a bubble gear knob i had from my old mx5 and crown royal gear gaiter.

After putting the 17's on I felt like it needed sideskirts and some sort of lip. i found a set of oem mk2 skirts on here for sale in blue and got them on along with a corsa c front lip (which looked awful). After this i my friend organised a private day at crail, so i bought a cheap set of 15's and went skidding. It was the most amount of fun i've ever had in a car, at the begining of the day i was powering over one corner and by the end i was linking whole section. Pics thanks to Dori Labs!

After this i had some bad times, while parked at an Airport to pick my Brother to see my Dad in hospital I came back to a smashed drivers window. After speaking with Security who had no cameras i couldn't find anything missing, even my Mrs's bag with her Ipad was still there. Only after i left i realised that my sunglasses were missing...£14 sunglasses!! Anyway managed to get a window from a local scrap yard and fitted a rx7 diffuser with huge help from mates. I then got a shotgun exhaust made by a mate to give it a bit of rasp.

We also decided to have a go up at Driftland, which was again HUGE fun although being scary at the same time.

Since then i plasti dipped my wheels white (again regret this)

So today i decided that the white plasti dip was getting rather tatty to started taking it off but me and the mrs (shes awesome like that) only managed to get it off the front wheels before having to go.

Also recently me and mrs fitted our own take on the feed style skirts by using stuff from our local homebase, cost around £20 and was rather easy to do. Anyway here are the most up to date pics
