Testing the water on this one..... and may need some help on price.... Im really not sure! I will put a guide price of £5k?? Im seeing rusted shells, with no parts up for 2-3k. Ok, I brought 2 escorts in, 1 to keep and 1 to move on, all the vat has been paid, etc. I will need to scavenge (locks and dash) a few parts from it. The car is a 1970 MK1 Ford Escort 3 door. The shell has had some bad repair work that will need to be fixed and the engine is incomplete. Its a complete rolling shell, windows, doors, interior (mostly complete), gearbox, diff, etc... ideal I would think for someone looking for a nice winter project! Both cars have come in from South Africa. Its the blue one that is for sale (will get more pics up):-
A little hard to explain... but around the drivers side of the front window (when the door is open) you can see that there has been repair work (filler). Doors dont have rubber seals around the windows and the paint on the window frames looks bad. Some minor rust coming through around the rear window. I took some photos, but it was very bright and they didnt come out well (with hard shadows, etc). Happy to forward them on if you are interested.
This will stay up for sale until the white one is done... once that is done I will start on the blue one and it will no longer be for sale. Im guessing 2-3 weeks.

Well Im hoping for the white one to be completed either this week or next and then the blue one will be stripped and built, while the white one is sold.

I am going through to the escorts this Saturday to see the progress and arrange the next set of work on the white one. If anyone else is interested in viewing, the car is near Rochester in Kent and I will probably be there for most of the morning on Saturday.
