    Hi there,

Any of you guys have a hardpipe induction or what setup is best/do you use?

Any help and advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Apexi Induction kits are really good, and for the price you can't go wrong really...

You could go for a K&N or Pipercross. But they don't come with with the hard pipe.

Do not go for HKS. Good air flow but that's because it doesn't filter it.

    Thanks man.

Looking for a hardpipe induction but there doesn't seem to be too many made. There is one on eGay america, dc sports short ram intake comes with hardpipe and filter but for a 89-94 240sx sr20det , wonder would it fit.

Be aware of air reversion when using a hardpipe from maf to turbo its quite common with apex hardpipes but can be resolved by welding an X in near the maf

    This ^

That would probably work. But i'm not very familiar with DC Sports, all I know is that they make it sound quite cool. AEM do an induction could check them out. :)

i made one myself with bits from ebay, 3" pipe and a couple of 2 1/2" - 3" reducers. i only did this in preperation for a z32 maf at some point, as they are made to fit 3" pipes. otherwise you could use 2 1/2" pipe and joiners. did it all for less than £20. people talk about them causing problems and needing a X welding in. mine ran no differently and i have had no problems as a result of fitting it.
