hi folks, i got a 520i with an M50 auto as a daily driver... just not much fun. i live in thailand and so far i haven't seen a manual tranny setup or even a flywheel from an M50 for sale(very rare here) i was wondering if flywheels from other bmw engines will also fit on a M50??? getting a custom machined or importing gonna run too expensive... if u know a cheap solution pls let me know. btw the car will stay mostly stock and be my daily driver just wanna have some fun thats all
If I'm not mistaken m52 flywheels are the same but use a larger 240mm clutch disc. Just need a matching set
different clutch set no problem as i will put a another tranny on... my biggest headache is just the flywheel then lets see if i can find a m52 flywheel if anybody knows of other helpful infos pls keep it coming
M52 as in 328 240mm or 323 220? Mm or even m3 240mm. It's literally just a case of getting the correct flywheel to match the clutch
