nice car, 5.7 is an ls1 btw.the vxr had the ls6 intake and remap for higher power output.

with a cam and remap these will do 450 bhp easy

and this car is worth about 2k more as it sits

All Monaro VXRs are 6.0 LS2 engines.

There were four variants of the Monaro sold in the UK.
Three of these had the 5.7 LS1, one had the 6.0 LS2.
This car is the LS2 variant. Fact. However the tax book probably says 5.7.

I'm confused about the LPG conversion though. Any I have seen before have had to have the engine cover removed or cut up. This one looks intact? I'm no expert though.

Also, on the face of it the car is priced at least £2k, maybe even £3k too cheap.

    Looks like a bargain.

were the early model vxr's not 5.7 ls6's effectively?

this is defo an ls2 as it's got fbw throttle too. Ls1 is cable throttle

Ok bit of an update, the car has an ls2 but is 5.7 in the log book. From what information I have this was a normal thing with the Vxr models.

Lpg was fitted when I bought it so not sure who fitted , but has the spare wheel tank .

No service history (didn't get any) but this has been taken into account when pricing the car !
