Okay guys and girls, I have a 97 316i manual coupe [IMG] which runs like a bag of nails and i also have a 328 engine, 325 manual gearbox and some other bits and bobs around the garage that would go nicely with a swap. So i wanted to know, as i only have the 328 engine and a 325 gearbox (and some of the 325 propshaft), what else would i need?

My guess from reading about on plenty of other forums, is an ECU, a complete wiring loom and an ews delete.

This is my first time doing a engine swap but I'm more than willing to take on any use-full advice or tips anyone can give me.

    Thanks in advance,

    Vik

When you say some of the prop you would need the first half of it that comes out from the gearbox side, other than that i think you gathered all the info that you need, dont ask the questions just go and do it and enjoy yourself when doing it as it will be well worth it in the end, good luck with the swap
