    Hey,

    I have a problem.

I was drifting and right after letting go of the gas on full throttle, the pedal came up and the car was still on full throttle. There's no issues with the throttle cable, I don't know what it could be.

    Help?

Have you actually checked the movement on the butterfly and throttle wheel?

Check for black carbon and gum , disconnect the throttle cable , and check the butterfly doesnt stick , then check the throttle cable isnt stiff.

Weird thing is, the whole throttle body moves freely and when on spot, revving, the gas doesn't stick on. Only when driving and holding the pedal flat to the floor for ~5 seconds. The pedal comes up but the gas remains on. I either have to brake or use the clutch to stop.

And it doesn't happen every time, at unexpected times which is the scariest part, since I might crash any time due to it.

If it's anything like an e36, then it will almost certainly be the cable at fault.
