Hi guys, For Sale is my 2004 Mazda RX8 231ps which i've turned into a track car, and have done over the past 5 years. 95% of the parts i've bought for this build was bought from new and it's been a no budget build. the car has only done 400 miles since it's rebuild inculding 3 track days. I’m selling because it never get the time to use it as i'm always repairing my Drift car and other projects. I would say the car has around 210bhp (standards have 180, despite being being called a 231ps) and weight is around 1250kg’s (standards are1400kg's). The car handles amazingly. There are not many cars that can keep up with this handling wise. for instance, in dry conditions you can take avon rise at castle combe at 120mph before braking into quarry, which is terrifying my I add. the car feels very planted its a very easy car to drive fast. As body work goes, its really clean,Only the Areo has cracks and marks from hitting the grass and cones from ‘offs’. no matter what you do the water temp never exceeds 98 degrees, even after half hour sessions. i’ve never had brake fade. The car works so well and sounds amazing, i’m forever having people coming up to me saying how good it sounds and the fact i shoots flames on ever up and down shift. Its the tempting as I want the diff and the cage too. What would the engine and bits be worth you recon?
engine is 1600, manifold is 250 clutch and flywheel is 600 bhr coils 250 aem intake 150 gearbox 200 engine mounts 150 underpully 40 shortshifter 180 the cage from nickson was 2000
