Does anybody know of a rwd cable shift manual gearbox which would either directly fit, or would be suitable to make fit onto an SR20? I have a car I would like to convert to manual, but because of engine location I cannot use a direct to box shifter as it will be in completely the wrong place to use.
What's wrong with the engine location ? Is it an inline installation or transverse ? You wont find many...or maybe even any inline front engine, rwd gearboxes simply because of the boxes location there would never be any need for a cable linkage as the box is always close to the driver.
