Who's booked in at rockingham in May? Went there for the matsuri and bloody hell is it a fast track. can't wait to get back there!
what circuit are they using? and where are the details? I know its through L2D but google only brings up the tuition days they run.
There will be two tracks splitting up the infield, play pens on the outer paddock and the outer oval. Details on the Facebook page Rocki Drift, strict noise limits though.
Agree on the speed. The oval is crazy quick and sliding down into the bottom concrete walls at that speed definitely improves your driving! Can't wait to go back. I would say the inner track is great but if you have a low powered car you really need to be aggressive to get the most out of it. At Matsuri I found it was pretty slow in the morning but sped up loads in the afternoon so loads of seat time by the end of the day. See you there!
Ian bumped my pod ticket thread, referencing this event. I will be coming in the 4 door 34, but shit scared that I will miss the booking, Opens Thursday? Only 45mins from me too...Whoop whoop... Noise limit??? Whats the DB...I can give out free ear plugs if the Swamp Donkey is an issue
It's not the same event as the thread was about, that got cancelled. but Rockingham are running their own drift day on this day now but it's only in the outer paddock bit, not the actual track. Bit shit when I had originally booked the track one but will still give it a go
So this is a car-park thing and not on track...? Will still probably go, however I was getting mega excited about hitting the track. Outer paddock? Although its been so many years for me that I am likely to KILL myself on a big track off the cuff.

yeh the outer paddock is just a large tarmac area which they will lay a track out in, its not very big. i wanted to get back on the infield, just fitted a new turbo and manifold and had it mapped, wanted to really stretch its legs
Due to me been a facebook retard as I dont ever use it I was refreshing a post for over 20mins and not the main facebook page. So yes I dont have a ticket. FFS cant get a drive anywhere...So if anyone has double booked or dropping out give me a shout.
I had a similar issue but more I was waiting for a post to pop up which never did, my mate sent me a link to tickets and I managed to get 2 in my basket but when I got to payment I got an error and it said sold out Where you booked onto the original rocki drift event?
