Hi, Just got my suspension kit from halfrauds, and found that the suspension kit I ordered has 4 x Dampers in it, but only the front set of springs. Am I supposed to have the rear ones or, am I ment to use standard springs, on the car. If I have been ripped off its gonna kick off when I go back, as they have mucked me about already over delivery time, and the price
Bollox! just looked up on the spax website, the part number on the box, guess what, fucking suspension for a shitron bastard saxo, torson bar rear suspension, no rear springs. Might have a one man protest out side halfrauds on saturday, and do a mega burnout right by the entrence to scare the customers away. P.S.
Well I opened the box las night and thought hmmmm, missing the rear spings. maybe some pikey has chaved them in the stores, then just looking at the springs, crounced down and put all me weight on them (and I'm a skinny bugger, 9stone) and the springs sagged a good 2 inches and thought christ on them bimmer these things are gonna be coil bound, yeah no wonder saxos have bullshit french soggy suspension, and weigh sweet FA. I need suspension sharpish if anyone knows any shops that might have spax E28 suspension in stock. Wanted to at least have the fronts fitted this weekend. Yeah I think there might be slight interchangable parts issues
Thats an idea I'll weld in a torsion bar to the rear suspension so I have no rear suspension, then fit the fronts, so have soft suspension at front, that will see me sideways

I dont know, Some spotty twot ordering the kit probably had saxo on the brain and ordered me it, it must have been courierd to the store becasue it had my name on the side and stores address, they didn't even open the delivery box to actually check the correct kit was inside, TBH it probably was probably was a fuck up at another store, or spax themselves, but I hope I het served by the nervous guy that I got the kit from last night I'll storm up to him and say 'ooiiiiiii do I look like I drive a saxo, you trying to question my sexuality, I'm hardcore drifter baby' and so forth...
dont shout hardcore drifter baby, cos then he'l think brilliant il have a crack at that take his saxo/corsa/nova/shit and handbrake turn it and try slide it and plough through a busstop full of kids.. then it will be your fault in some way
HaHa yeah, steer clear of anyone in Nova/saxo etc. because I have never actually seen one perform good bit of driving, but they're so hard because they shitbox does 60mph in a 30. You should see the state of the cars the people that work in my local hafords drive, just beacause they get store discount, they be even more shite for the car. haha oh the people classed as "ripseed technician" i had to go to halfords a few weeks back cos it was the nearest place that was open that day.. dear me there is some tat there... yeh anyone who drives a crap 1.1 saxo at highspeed through towncentres is infinately more dangerous than someone who does a bit of spirited driving on deserted roads late at night
Yeah ironic how 'back in the day' ripspeed sold proper ex race/rally parts, to tune the bejesus out of road cars, now people with the slowest cars on the road go there and buy fog lights, spoliers, and poorly fitted 'k and n's' which will lose them 5% bhp.
Yeah I think he used to race rallycross, and started selling parts performance cars of the day i.e. mk1 escorts etc. Think he lives in California now just from the money for the halfords deal.
