E34 diff into E36?

    I'm running a medium case 3.15 E36 diff and want a lower ratio from a E34.
    What E34 diff should I go for and what do I need to change to make the two fit onto the E36?

    you just need to swap the crown wheel and pinion from the e34 diff into the e36 casing just make sure theyre both the same size casings

    What model e34 do I need to get a 3.64 diff ratio?

    Please look at this page:

    But notice, that you have to make sure that you get an 188er, not an 210er Diff!
