Just installed rb25 gearbox with rb25det to my R32 hcr32 non turbo bought front modified rb25 front prop the issue I got when trying to mate the rb20 prop to the r33 prop the holes don't line up and the bolt holes seem smaller on the rb20 then the r33 end are larger
Non turbo R32s have different diameter props. If it was an RB20DE then the prop diameter is smaller. If it was an RB25DE then the diameter is usually the same but the length is too short. Was the front prop modified to be used in an R32?
Yes I bought it knowing it has been modified for rb25 gearbox to r32 front prop fits spot on, the rb20de fits the diff I didnt check for length will check tomorrow it sits in the centre but the hole don't line up plus the holes seem smaller would I need to get rb20det non abs prop
Mine was RB25DE auto and I converted to RB20DET manual and I needed front and rear sections of an R32 manual prop. The guys at Garage-D had never seen a prop like the one that came out of mine. The back half of a turbo manual prop is a lot longer than the front half, mine were about equal length. Was the car auto before? If the length measures up correctly, all you need is the back half of an R32 Turbo manual propshaft and that should fix your problems. The non turbo manuals have smaller flanges as yours does. I know Garage D have these on the shelf so it might be worth giving them a ring?
