Standard internals with uprated head studs, Cometic head gasket, N1 water pump, HKS fine tune timing belt and pulleys, New Crank pulley plus all the extra bits listed above. Clutch and turbo alone are £2k... Compression tested and between 155 and 160 across all 6 so a very good strong engine. Up the boost to 1.4bar and she will run 480bhp all day long (Ran it at this on the dyno and backed it to keep everything extra safe). Nik Let me break it down for you as I'm guessing you are going to come with "oh thats expensive on standard internals, would be worth it if it was forged".... Turbo - £1k HKS Manifold - £650+ Clutch - £1k Gearbox - £700 External gate - £275 Coils with converted loom and custom HT Leads - £300 ECU - £1k Injectors £400 Vibratechnics engine mounts - £200 That leaves a total of £1175 for the block with the above work, ancillaries and all the other misc parts (Hoses etc that are on it)... Not exactly dear when standard engines are going for £1800....
I am after seat mounts for the left seat (drivers seat where I am from, but not in UK). Must be rly low, pics are very welcome. I would also be interested in a duck tail spoiler
I have a build thread on here dude. Pics of it on the some of the later pages - - - Updated - - - No S-Body passenger seat mount are really low as there is a bulge in the floor pan which the rail has to clear. Nik
I know about the bulge yes, if only the rear part was closer to the floor, there is about 4cm of space left unused that would give just enough clearance for head. I saw you have the OMP seats in. My seat is OMP WRC XL and I can't seem to get it between the rails to lower it further. Was wondering how yours is.
Leave the bolts loose until the seat is in place then once you get the seat in you can tighten them all up. Bit of a pain but it does fit. Nik
