Like most adverts I read, I am in two minds selling this. I bought it to save my very clean R33 from being potentially knocked in Driftcup. I was supposed to buy a cheap car with a cage to compete in and ended up getting something very different, this. At the time it was a bit of an unknown quantity, it needed tweaking and felting but I hadn’t realized what I had bought, in effect a weapon. This is a very responsive, very fast and very competitive car that has been driven to events as well as taken part in and has been 100% reliable.

I am leaning away from competing this year and in a silly situation where I have two high spec skylines sat on my drive which never made complete sense anyway which is my thought process for selling. I would almost sell my R33 I like this that much but it owes me more money.

It’s mechanically perfect with a rust free, solid and straight body that looks great in action. The candy red has part faded which I’ve grown to love adding character, it has a few marks (not dents) and the front and rear bumpers have been re-fibre glassed, reinforced and due to be painted mid February.

I am still considering removing the R34 GTR gearbox and fitting it to my R33 but not sure if I want the faff. This could be something to negotiate with on price. Also, if it sold before the bumpers were painted I could take money off again but in the real world I doubt that will be the case.

No time wasters or dreamers please, it’s a serious car on a desirable chassis that only seems to be going up in value. I have spent a lot of time and money getting it to how it is now so please, no low ballers or unnecessary comments.

Note: I will add some pictures of the interior and engine bay since I tidied up the aesthetics and wiring during the week when it’s not raining and dark out.

    Pictures are here: -

Imported on 76508km (47540 miles) gearbox/speedo/odometer runs double speed so very low mileage. Currently on 89975km (55907 miles) but again everything runs double speed.

Just to add, there will be some bits I have missed and also there may be more going on inside the engine and other areas of the car that you loose information on when its imported, like the clutch, it behaves like my OS Giken Twin Plate on the R33 but I do not know what it is.

Just had the diff rebuilt with new bearings and seals. Just sat on my drive. I have used it for 3 rounds of drift cup and a couple of taxi ride days at pod. Its not your typical abused ragged / drifted car. It's very solid, clean and looked after with much money spent. Gearbox conversion is worth 4k - 5k alone...

That would depend on if you want a hole where it should be or something else there in its place?
