Ok then! Up for sale rare as hell 540 manual with all the right bits. A good friend of mine asked me to sell this for him as he just doesn't get to use it anymore. Im selling this cheap and for spares or repair purely as it failed its MOT and needs some work. I drove it back, as it is, and so could a buyer. It does however need a bit of work to make it a good car again. Good points first: 172k M62TUB44 v8 engine 6 speed getrag box Recent clutch M5 diff, shafts New prop donut, centre bearing,rear subframe bushes Genuine staggered m parralel wheels Coilovers Full powerflow exhaust Full m sport kit and trim Facelift rear lights Factory angel eye headlights Short shifter Brand new battery Serious luxury spec leather interior, electric everything even has the full BMW toolkit and first aid box Pulls like an absolute train to the point it's scary! Engine doesn't smoke or use oil/water, no smokes, box is great and smooth. Drivetrain is all in good nick and spins wheels up in any gear. M5 diff is tight. Bad points: Cosmetics. As you can see the bonnet is fucked. Came up at speed on the journey home : ( It does however safely shut if you wanted to drive it home. Windscreen is also cracked all the way across. Front wings and boot have rust. Front bumper is a bit brittle and cracked. Headlights could do with a polish up. Interior is good just missing CD player and a few knobs from climate control Handling. Drives good just cruising. Driving fast is a bit scary! Mainly because the back currently has a different sized spare on one side as had a flat. Steering little bit vague but straight, slight wheel wobble at 50 which is a common problem. Failed MOT on: Cracked screen Exhaust is missing bolts and blowing, easy fix. Rear sills need a bit of welding ARB droplinks perished Offside front ball joint needs replacing Hbrake below requirements Rear brake calliper binding Few bulbs need changing. Rear passenger door doesn't open It's a decent size list but really none of the above are very difficult or expensive jobs. With all that in mind I think £2.5k is a fair price as could break it for good money. Or just spend a few quid and have it back to its former glory. Please please for the love of god, no time wasters. Do not turn up and start listing the things ive already listed and try to haggle. It is worth it in parts all day long and that is why i am selling it for parts, though like i said thats up to the new buyer so i dont want to hear about how much it will cost etc etc. Just a nice simple sale as i have been more than honest. PRICE dropped to £2250 no offers Location TN29 9RP {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {}
{} {} {} {} {} That's my old car! I fitted the diff but it was a lot tidier back then. Does he fancy a swap? I have a pretty tidy e36 genuine 325i m50 motor'd saloon. Will have a new MOT, has new coilovers, damping, height, preload adjustable like posh ones but not so expensive Full new front end kit, arms, balljoints, bushes New rear camber arms Full complete black interior with leather which is mint with very tidy and pricey mtec 1 wheel. mtec gearknob, m stitched gear and handbrake gaitors etc Sony stereo, uprated door speakers and 6x9 rears HID and angel eye headlights, M3 rears, smoked sides Full stainless exhaust de catted Short shift gear Just had oil and filter last week and new brake pads up front, has K&N panel air filter. Just had 4wheel alignment too. Got a bit of rust appearing on sills and I have had to blow in the rear arches after rolling, they aren't shocking but the colour match isn't perfect. Can't sell with current wheels as I haven't even paid my first DW finance payment on them yet but he would be welcome to keep his Paras to put on it.
I bought this off mike then sold it on. Dynoed at 292 bhp and 325 ft lb Very strong engine on this car, hope someone saves it
