    hi all i am going to be starting my starlet project soon and am going to have to change the axle to ford as i am going to use a zetec engine does anyone know whats involved in puttign a mk2 escort axle onto the starlet also ive been told you can use carpi friont struts anyone ever heard of this

    Talk to the Stig on here, he's well clued up on what can and can't be done on a Starlet.

    yep talk 2me :D (any1just any1!!)rite fella i av an escort axle already bracketed up 2 take the orriginal starlet 4link£100(cash) i do front x-memb brks 2 take mk2 escort x-memb£25pr(cash)you then need a coloumn link 2join the escort rack 2 toyota coloumn£15+joints and a pr of essentric top mounts(rose jointed) and a pr of adj tcas,you also need 2weld on an escort antidive kit 2mount the escort anti roll bar this enables you 2use ford legs(most use 2.8i)alternativly you can do it usin capri x-memb but ive found ther not so nice 2drive. any thing else give us a call@the driftmoto.com w-shop 01474 850850 n of course we can do all this 4you if need be including sourcing parts(if weve not got them in stock!!)we currently have 2starlets in at the mo,both being readed for the d1!!!!!pics comin soon on driftmoto.com
