I'm looking into getting a new exhaust for my 1.6 mk1 mx5 and not sure what to go for. I'd like it to be louder but not ignorant, have a nice looking tip 2-4 inches and have a really nice tone. Not looking for a really deep sound. Any ideas? Did like the look of the manzo exhaust but thought its probably too deep.
I made one for a turbo mx5 I done with a mate from the turbo back 2.5 inch stainless no mufflers. Wouldn’t sound good on an NA But did on the turbo. Maby get one custom made with a muffler to your choice?
Piper are remaking the Catback systems, but for 1.8l models. Pretty sure theyre all the same from Cat back though....
I've been running a Jackson racing system on my 1.8 for a long time now brilliant sounding bit of kit. i'm not sure if they ever made one for the 1.6. Also the Pitcrew exhaust is a good looking centre exit as well.
