Does anyone know a good place to get a full 6 point weld in roll cage installed anywhere in the uk. I have had a quote for £2000 from nickson motorsport which is way too much for my budget . £1000 would be ideal. this is the cage with all dotted lines (full cage). cheers

    Weld-in-Diagram(lrg).

Does that include the optional bars? Should be able to get someone to do it for £1k or less but check their reputation and their previous work.

    Fuck that !!!

That cage, as shown, supplied, fitted, to BDC etc spec is £2.5-3.5k all day depending on materials, reputation and other issues.

Its triangualted through to the front turrets, its got secondary A pillar bars joining the door cross bars, both main hoops are double crosed and gussetted, top of B pillar is triangulated, its tied into the transmission tunnel, looks like it might be ready to pickup the dash bar and its got harness bars !!!

That is far from a standard 6 point cage !!

That is far from a standard 6 point cage that should be £600-1000 depending on how pikey the place is thats doing it for that kind of cheaps !!

It sounds like he's saying he already has the cage, so is just requiring fitting, not supply/fit.

    Not always the best approach.

The guy already has the cage, it is just the welding and maybe the boxes?

For the cage without the optional bars i stick to my previous answer but for the whole cage as pictured i'd say £1600 would be reasonable (As long as the windscreen and dash have been removed.

Probably a silly question but was that £2k quote on the basis of you supplying them with a stripped out car ?
