Vectra fans are also good, only takes a small bit of modification to fit an s14 rad too.

Is your car used for drifting or just street use? Saying that because the standard clutch fan with cowling does a great job at cooling. Seems crazy to change to e fans just for the looks imo.

electric fans or well good electric fans will rinse through your alternator ive heard. I was going to do e fans cause i didnt like clutch fan but people said clutch fan, cowling and an ali rad is all you need to stay cool. No point in changing unless you are going for a show look.

Shouldn't have any issues with the alternator just running a set of fans.

I wouldn't be pointing the finger at electric fans causing alternator issues, age causes alternator issues

If an alternator can't cope with a couple of electric fans it's not the fan's fault

I wasnt saying it like I know it kills alternators. Was just suggesting that running a good electric fan eg 120+ watts around 20amps, and then 2 of them puts more strain on the alternator, just another thing to consider.

You're right that it puts more load on the alternator, but rest assured they cope just fine.

From factory these cars come with air conditioning electric fans so they're designed to cope with the load. Those old air con fans were horrible units too, no where near as efficient as modern day fans.
