Up for sale I've got a SP30 Rotrex centrifugal supercharger, these are like hens teeth now and a similarly sized C30 (new range/pretty much exact but say "Rotrex") cost in excess of £1600.

I bought this for a project but I've changed plans now.

Without the need for an exhaust system etc it is a cheaper (sometimes more effective) alternative to a turbo conversion- the only reason I've changed direction is because I've changed projects now and decided against supercharging it

Because of it's size this will fit pretty much any application and from my research I came to the decision that it was a much better choice than a roots type blower- Eatons etc, all they need is mounting correctly to run off your drive belt- roots for best results need to be mounted onto your intake manifold otherwise you'll need to relocate your throttle body in many cases- crankcase problems-vac lines pressurizing etc. They're much smaller/lighter and efficient than they're roots counterparts hence the price difference

Won't go too much into centrifugal chargers because I'm assuming you'll know (probably more than me) about them if you're interested but in a nutshell they're pretty much set up like turbo chargers (no need to re-locate throttle body) except they're belt driven and not exhaust mounted..

Rotrex chargers are amongst the best out there and cost in excess of £1.5k

They do need their own oil cooling system (which is a plus point excluding room tbh) and I've found a cheap alternative to their expensive own branded traction fluid- CVT fluid- verified by a supercharger specialist who gave me information- Rotrex were no help themselves as it's an older model...

This is an older variant of the new C30 range (mid sized) it uses a Garrett compressor wheel/housing that I think is a type of T25 (m24 A/R 42 8 blades)

    www.philanthropy.gr/rotrex/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/Rotrex_Technical_Datasheet_C30_Range_V5.0.pdf

    Measurements: A-165mm B-54mm C-60mm

Therefore it's 15mm thinner overall than similarly sized c30's and only compressor inlet outer diameter is thicker (apart from the biggest C30-940) which is just the thickness of the collar in which your induction kit/filter attaches to- probably due to it being a Garrett housing rather than a Rotrex one.

It also has a bigger compressor wheel than the first 2 C30 sizes, the smallest C30 is capable of power increases anywhere from 163-320bhp, which is where I based my potential figures on and was aiming for 250bhp.

Pulley size is 75mm which is the second smallest available as far as I'm aware.

It has been rebuilt at some point and there is no lateral or in/out shaft play. Pulley turns freely with no bearing issues.

The housing can be rotated to suit fitment. Obviously because of it's age/use it could do with a clean polish if it's going in a pretty engine bay, which I was personally going to do.

Just the charger is included so you'll need to sort out oil lines, filter, reservoir.

I do have a small 10 row Earls oil cooler (good quality) that I was going to use, it has been chemically cleaned and was removed from a low mileage race car (with the charger) it does have a small hole (very cleanly done) through some fins that has no effect on use though. I'd be prepared to let it go WITH the cooler for full asking price.

I will update with pictures before the end of the week.

£500 I doubt very much that you'll find a cheaper one. I won't entertain silly offers because I'm happy to hold onto it until I find something for it to go on.

Make some brackets up, sort fuel/management and away you go

Delivery can be arranged or cash on collection from Nottingham

    Cheers
