E36 316 wiring plug help!!

Might be a stupid question as im not too familiar with wiring but I'm swapping a twin turbo 1jz into my e36 316 coupe. The guy I bought the e36 shell from has cut the round plug off( what the engine harness plugs into) therefore I'm not sure which wire is for what. There are diagrams for pinouts and which colour wire is for what and what pin it goes to what but non for a 316. All for 318 and above, or is the 318 harness is the same as the 316? Any help will be more than welcome

Wow, thank you so much, do you think it varies by year? Mine is 1996 so not sure if the wiring would be the same or not
