    Hey,

Just looking to find out if what I’ve done is correct.

Fitted full hicas delete driftworks kit due to dead bushes. I’ve kept the underbody lines and hicas solenoid that’s at the rear. The two banjos that went from solenoid to hicas rack I’ve blocked.

Not looking to save weight, and if I ever wanna go back to standard I can just unblock and refit hicas rack. Car feels and drives fine.

Is this a correct way of doing it? Or do I actually need to loop the empty banjos on the solenoid together? If so why? Experienced reply’s only please

    Cheers

Logic would say loop them, as one would be a feed, the other a return I'm guessing?

So eventually the feed line will fill up and start going back up the line to whatever feeds it and potentially cause issues. Unless you can disconnect the pump(if there is one).

And Yes, I did see your comment re Experienced Replies only, but some help is better than none. Might help you figure it out yourself :)

    That was my theory

However I’ve seen kits that come with blanking nuts?

Block them and leave. Had mine blocked for around 4 years no issues

If you blocked both banjo fittings individually it could cause back pressure and possibly ruin the pump. The pump is still trying to move fluid through the system which is why its best to loop it instead of blocking it. I personally removed all of the lines and solenoids and looped it up front, when I first looped mine in the rear my PS got a little harder than it should have been which is why I went ahead and removed it all.

Is that looped or just blocked?

guessing the pump is belt driven - did you remove that belt/bypass the pump?

All I did was just use the bungs that came with the kit I bought. Never removed the belt as the pump does front and rear
