Hey guys I'm new to the forum. My stud pattern is 4x100 and want to go 5x120. Have adaptors that would fit BUT my studs are pressed in permanent so you screw the lug nuts on. Adaptors won't work for that way around. So has anyone here taken their studs out and then tapped the holes so you can bolt IN wheel studs like other cars have? Just a idea.
    Thanks

Cheers. I have a set of PCD adapters to take them from 4x100 to 5x120. Holes are close on one but they fit fine. Just designed for screw in wheel bolts not pressed studs. Hoping to get a old hub from the scrappy of any car with pressed studs to see how it fares as don't want to ruin mine!

Someone (might have been Destroy or Die) were selling BMW hubs redrilled to 5x114.3 at one point, could be doable to get them redrilled.
Alternatively, you could get the wheels themselves redrilled by someone like Rimscarnated.

That's interesting that someone has had hubs drilled. I realised I'd mis typed in a spaz moment I'm going to 5x130 not 120.
Got the equipment and facilities to do it myself just never done it so will be a first and don't wana do it to find it doesn't work or knackers them. Not exactly a cheap screw up. Didn't know I could have the wheels re drilled. Don't think I'd be able to on these ones as the holes wouldn't sit right on the wheel spokes.

Yeah 5x130. Got myself some fuchas as really like them. Don't laugh but I have a Vauxhall Chevette. Had her 19 years. No not standard by any means before you say ha ha. Have a collection of cars to be honest but she's my pride and joy.

Fuchs on a Shove-it?! The Blasphemy....I love it!

Being 5x130 changes it a lot though. Think it sounds like adapter spacers may be your best bet!

Ha ha yeah it is a bit of blasphemy and ppl ask why???!! Well why not? The issue I have at the moment it the holes left from knocking out my studs are slightly and I mean slightly larger than the bolts that came with the adaptor. So need to hunt bolts the sane thread but same slim Allen bolt head to fit in the spacer recess so they are flush with the mounting face. Or re drill 4x100 PCD in hubs and weld up the other holes. Stripping her down the weekend to see what I thinks best. Was kinda hoping to find someone who's done it. Will let u know how it goes!

Very very pleased to report back I’ve finally done it!!!! Taken some serious thought and machining but I’ve modified my half shafts to take the Porsche wheels. Seems it’s a first as not found anyone or any reference to it being done before.

Yes I do but thanks very much. Have Porsche Fuchs wheels. Hence I’ve spent so much effort making the buggers fit ha ha.
