Need to get a prop made for my capri, where have people used? Preferably in the south. I've got the 2 props that need doing so it's just a matter of somewhere cutting both ends off and welding them together.
    Cheers

I would use a welding company that has coded welders. Ask for it to be done with tig as thats the strongest weld or stick if they use low/hi rods. Also a full or good prep on each end anything over 20mm thick should be preheat before welding ‍

Have a Google chances are there will be a driveshaft/prop shop near you.

I paid £75 to have my bmw cut and a Volvo yolk welded on.

Not as simple as cut and weld. Needs to be balanced
Take it somewhere that does it for a living

You are correct sir, each time I've tried to find somewhere I've searched for prop never driveshaft, so altering my search like a regular person lead to some pretty close which is what I was after :)

I used bailey Morris for my Capri/Nissan single piece propshaft. Can't remember the figure but it was way more than £75. Maybe £300 I paid?? I basically got a complete new prop to suit my measurements as they had all the flanges and stuff in stock.
