Hi I'm wondering if anyone here can help me. I've ordered an OE spec timing belt kit for my 1JZ-GTE JZZ30 Soarer, but the waterpump that's arrived has the part number for a 1JZ-GE (JZX81). The two items look more or less identical but I can't find anything online about whether the parts are interchangeable. Has anyone on here ever had this issue before and can tell me if I can use the part I have on my motor? For reference the part numbers are: 16110-49095 (1JZ-GE JZX81) 16110-49105 (1KZ-GTE JZZ30) Attached are three images of what I've been sent, and two images of the correct part number for my engine. To my eyes they're exactly the same, but I don't want to strip it all down to find it doesn't fit, if I can help it. {} {} {} {} {}
Indeed! I was thinking as much just from looking at them, but it'll be just my luck that the non turbo waterpump housing has one bolt 3mm to the left of a turbo one or something stupid. I think I'm going to risk it cos there don't seem to be any straight answers and they look close enough to me!
