My son and I recently started a drift car build. So far, we’ve ordered a LSD, hand brake components and a wide angle kit. Other than power adders, some other mods we are considering are coil overs and clutch/flywheel. Beyond that, how would other mods rank in order of importance?

If it matters, the car is a ‘04 325ci.

Basics for what I learnt in order of importance

    Welded Diff
    Coilovers
Seat that holds you in (maybe harnesses as well)

This will give you tons of fun.

    Nice to have:
    Handbrake
Angle kit is good but as a learner I wouldn't worry as much about that yet as it will detract from learning rather than adding

Keep it simple and go shred tyres. Always remember to focus on seat time rather than the build. Way more fun that way

    Enjoy!

Elements of safety are ALWAYS the #1 importance, no matter how cool-looking, clean, fast, wide or solid your car build is, it's nothing but a rolling death trap without any safety measures
