MX5 NB 1999. Did some drifting today, I am quite a beginner, started doing it a couple of weeks ago. Tonight something strange happened, every time I tried to start a drift (both with and without cluth kick) as soon as the rear wheels broke traction the RPM started decreasing like if I wasn't pressing the throttle pedal at all (even though I was flooring it). It never happened the other times and i had to go home without doing a single drift because the car lost power every time I enetered one, making me regain control instantly. I had no power loss at all in other situations other than drifting while going home. Can you help me identify the problem? I really can't tell. Thank you

Faster entry. More PSI in the tyres.
