Its a bit laggy, 1.2 bar comes at around 6000rpm but it has a little more headroom than the .64 2871r. I have a nice mani, ewg and avcr, sitting here which would have helped but change of plans. Im sure you know that Tomei use td0 series and sprinkle their magic on it, its a journal core .72ar, correct me if im wrong. Sounds great, decent punch, good top end and nice bit of jdm bling.
5000 to 6000 is responsive but i can check the gopro tomorrow, better mani would help. The graph above looks to be the ideal scenario, 22det or vet, cams, manifold, probably adjustable cam gears too
I rebuilt my one with billet core etc and I've welded the wastegate up to go external gate on a ported stock mani in hope for something magical. But its just rare coming across someone that's using one which is why I was curious. Tomeis website graphs are meaningless for the average sr.
If the car doesnt sell I'll weld it up too and run external, would be interesting to hear your results if you beat me to it. My mapper advised better boost control was needed so you're on the right path.
