Sorry if the title is a bit confusing Long story short, saw a car with fitment that I liked. That car was running a staggered setup. Im FWD…wider in the rear is no bueno Front was 18x8.5 +40 Rear was 18x9.5 +40 Anyway to find out what the offset of the rear should be to keep it at the same (or similar) location with a 8.5 wide in the rear? I get that if i go with a 8.5 in the back, the wheel will be 1” shorter. I just need to know the offset that the 8.5 will have to be in order to keep it at the similar location as the 9.5 Wheels are 3 piece so i have lots of flexibility Not even sure if it’s possible to get an answer being that the wheel is 1” shorter but I thought I’d ask
You're looking at an offset of +27/28, or thereabouts. 8.5j +27 puts the wheel 0.3mm further out than 9.5j +40. 8.5j +28 puts the wheel 0.7mm further in than 9.5j +40. https://www.willtheyfit.com/index.p...2=45&wheel_size=18&wheel_width=8.5&offset2=27 {}
