    Hi to all!
I'm in the middle of an AE86 total restoration, literally rebuilding from scratch.
While bodywork and rust are mostly fixed, i've started to rebuild the front and rear axle.
I have 2 differential, both LSD, one is the OEM one and the other is a TRD.
I've noticed that the halfshafts with both diff have a little freeplay, in the order of less than half millimeter, but there is, and the TRD to have just little more. I've made a video of it: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/Vvwm8bXzQ8U
What are you thoughts about it? Can be considered acceptable?
    Thanks!

You'd need to refer to the Toyota manual, it should have information in on how to properly measure freeplay and the acceptable limits.
